Package holidays in Greece, Spain and Turkey soar in price

The cost of package holidays abroad has increased by almost 10% this year according to exclusive data for the BBC, from TravelSupermarket, one of the UK’s biggest holiday comparison sites.

And the more popular the destination the bigger the price jump - with the likes of Crete, Tenerife and Majorca seeing prices jump by more than 20%.

Richard Singer, the Chief Executive of Travel Supermarket, tells Sean Farrington how people are changing their holidays to save money.
