Jon Culshaw on Bristol's Professor Colin Pillinger
The actor, comedian and amateur astronomer remembers his friend, Professor Colin Pillinger. The Bristol-born scientist is best known as the leader of the Beagle 2 project, the attempt - in the face of opposition - to land a British spacecraft on Mars. He was involved in ground-breaking scientific research for over 40 years. Jon met Colin many times, including working with each other on the BBC's ‘Sky at Night’ and became close friends.
