Fire safety fears over phone chargers
A BBC Essex presenter has put smoke detectors into her children's bedrooms after a lucky escape with a faulty phone charger.
Liana Bridges' 16-year old son fell asleep with his phone on charge in his bed next to him, only to wake up in the morning to find it melted and having burned a hole into his mattress and duvet.
BBC Essex speaks to Liana, as well as Sasha Watson from Suffolk Trading Standards and Ben Turner. Essex County Fire and Rescue Service Station Manager.
