Harlow food bank "busier than ever"
BBC Essex launches its "Make a Difference Feeding Families at Christmas" campaign today (1 Dec).
For many people in Essex, financial hardship means Christmas can be a difficult time of the year and Essex foodbanks are needed more than ever.
BBC Essex speaks to Andy Thornton, CEO at Michael Roberts Charitable Trust which runs Harlow Foodbank, and Cass Francis, Media & Campaigns Coordinator at Southend Foodbank.
If you’d like to make a foodbank donation for Christmas, go to www.bbc.co.uk/MakeADifference to find out where you can do this, and which foods are in demand.
