A close aide of the murdered Essex MP Sir David Amess has vowed to continue with projects that he was passionate about.

In her first broadcast interview with the BBC, Julie Cushion paid tribute to Sir David a year on from his death.

As his constituency assistant, she was at the church when Sir David was fatally stabbed on October 15th 2021, and made the 999 call.
