Gareth Malone brings rock choir to Southend

Gareth Malone - the man who brought choirs to prime-time TV and is patron of the Military Wives Choir - is bringing a brand new show to Essex. "Sing-a-Long-a-Gareth" is coming to the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on 9 November 2022. Gareth tells BBC Essex's Sonia Watson about the show, which will feature the Southend Rock Choir - and how important singing is.
