Manchester-based video production company The Gate are looking to hire an exciting young creative to join their team, and bosses Rhi and Si need someone with vision who can stay calm under pressure.

Our candidates are all self-taught content creators – waitress Leah couldn’t walk after a car accident and bought herself a video camera to pass the time before becoming a YouTuber. Business student Afaaq worked at a supermarket to save up for his first camera, and shop assistant Jac fell into fashion photography before turning his hand to video.

For their first challenge, our candidates are thrown in at the deep end as they shoot and edit a social video with drag royalty Divina de Campo. The pressure is on, as watching on is ex-Love Islander turned content creator Chris Taylor, while their future bosses watch on next door. With barely any time on the clock, who can impress the most?

For the second challenge, they have one more chance to land their dream job by creating an advert for real-life client Foot Locker. Over two days, they need to work with a professional videographer to shoot and edit, before presenting their work to the client and their bosses.
