Episode 2

With just five weeks until the European Continental Cup 2019, big changes are made to the team line-up. The arrival of star jammer (attacker) Rogue prompts captain Kid to shift to blocker (defence). The reshuffle means a shake-up of defensive packs who have played together for seasons, and the changes don't go down well. Captain Kid reassures the team that, at this stage, they have nothing to lose. But if they want glory at the Euros, they will need to rekindle team spirit fast.

Key to team morale is blocker Kemp, a big personality who never holds back on the track. Off track, she enjoys the quiet life in Llanelli with her family and ageing Great Dane Socs. Through roller derby, Kemp found friends for life who give her confidence to truly be herself.

Meanwhile, ten years at the top and the stress of the captaincy are taking their toll on Kid. She hasn’t told anyone yet, but she’s thinking this season may be her last.
