No Human is an Island was written two weeks into lockdown after Tom Hickox re-read No Man is an Island, John Donne's iconic poem meditating on our need for community and human contact.
The film, directed by Grammy-nominated Nicolas Jack Davies, shows each musician performing in 'concert clothes' but in an unmistakably domestic setting.
All recording and filming was done under lockdown conditions.
Filmed in Lockdown is a series of new works of literary, musical, visual, and performance arts, commissioned for Culture in Quarantine by Arts Council England and BBC Arts.
