Reading FC: Bowen disappointed by 'tired' Royals

Royals boss Mark Bowen felt his side were slow off the mark in their draw with Hull.

Despite going 1-0 up, Reading were unable to hold on for the win in the Championship.

"We were off it right from the start," Bowen told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "A little bit tired, a little bit jaded, a little bit fatigued.

"The qualities we've shown in the past, I thought we were lacking today.

"As a team, as a group, as individuals, it was way off."
