Space flight poses many problems for baking, but it's not just a lack of gravity that astronauts would have to deal with. Science fiction writer Mary Robinette Kowal has had to research this for some of her novels, and tells Graighah Jackson why one of her characters needed a lot more water than usual to make a pie. Plus, why salt shakers aren't allowed on the International Space Station.
