Fat Girl Best Friend

Buzzed to be auditioning for the leading lady part in a film, Sarah is gutted when told she is reading for the wrong part; she should be auditioning for the best friend character. This makes sense to Sarah, as we often only see plus-size women on our screens is in the ‘fat girl best friend’ stereotype. Haven’t we had enough of that? Don’t big girls deserve a story of their own?
