Reading FC: Bowen delighted with opening victory

New Royals boss Mark Bowen was in disbelief after 97th minute winner vs Preston.

The victory in Bowen's first match in charge came through defender Matt Miazga's goal.

"I don't know what Matt Miazga was doing in the penalty area!" Bowen told BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "I didn't realise it was going to go down to the last minute.

"In all fairness I thought we were the side in the ascendancy, albeit it was a scrappy game.

"If there was anybody who was going to win it, it was going to be us."
