DJ Target, Krept and Konan spring a surprise challenge on the musicians by making them ride a whole host of beats with different BPMs, from Afrobeat to drum and bass, courtesy of Docta Cosmic. Special guest AJ Tracey watches and critiques, sharing intimate knowledge about his own approach to mic versatility. Can Chade, who came close to losing his spot in the competition last week, reward their faith in his raw potential? Or is his time up?
In the next challlenge, things get deep as the artists are tasked with penning and performing a heartfelt dedication to a loved one. Tears flow as Ransom and Lady Ice open up about important family history. J Lucia frets that his ex-girlfriend will be a no-show, while lone wolf F.O.S. struggles with opening up at all.
