A major step was taken forward in trying to decarbonise Scotland’s energy sector last week. Orkney has been identified as a test bed for a renewable energy grid which, theoretically, should reduce or even eliminate our reliance on fossil fuels. So why is Orkney such a hotbed for this type pioneering work? It's a question our environment correspondent, Kevin Keane, has been considering for this week's Reporter's Notebook.
