Minister surprises presenter with ‘lipstick’ comment

Business Minister Claire Perry said “nice lipstick” to BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Emma Barnett during an interview about Brexit, adding “matches your microphone perfectly”.

Ms Perry was explaining that she hadn’t seen a Brexit information pack being sent to businesses on Friday when she paused to comment on Emma Barnett’s make-up.
