Housing minister: House prices will rise even in ‘no deal’ Brexit
Housing Minister Kit Malthouse has told BBC Radio 5 Live that house prices will keep rising in a “gentle upward trajectory” and he believes that will continue, even if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
Speaking to 5 Live's Emma Barnett, he said that he’s not seen a specific forecast from his department - the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government - which looks specifically at the impact of ‘no deal’ on house prices.
