How to build a chef
Being a chef is hard work, and it seems that behind many of the best, a great man or woman is picking up the pieces. Three people tell us about the personal sacrifice they’ve made to help their partner get to the top of the culinary profession. Emily Thomas meets: PR executive Samantha Wong, partner of Hong Kong chef and restaurateur May Chow; sculptor Beth Cullen-Kerridge, who is married to Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge; and engineer Gundeep Gill who is married to Indian restaurateur Romy Gill MBE.
