Animation: Rhys and Linzi - Dance Never Goes Wrong
Dance can inspire confidence and self-belief.
Animators: Chantelle Spauls, Emma Niemis, Mia Roberts, Ollie Rouse, Peter Morgan.
Course: BA Animation at Norwich University of the Arts.
The animators say: We choose the audio clip from the BBC listening project called ‘Dance Never Goes Wrong’ which involved a conversation about a young man’s vulnerability and how he was able to overcome it through a creative medium which we, as students, can relate to. We have represented the conversation through bright colours and varying animation styles whilst maintaining a consistent flow. All to accentuate the actions and topics being discussed. Even though our team used different animation styles for each scene, we have hopefully connected them successfully by using a consistent colour palette, having seamless transitions, and maintaining cohesive elements and shapes in our different formats.
