Reporter’s Notebook: Malachi O'Doherty

Theresa May's government is now reportedly considering some kind customs arrangement with the EU. Could such an arrangement be a way out of the seemingly insoluble problem of the Irish border? There have been claims that a return to hard border in Ireland could result in a return to violence but as Malachi O'Doherty observes in this week's Reporter's Notebook it's moderate opinion in the province which could bring about a more fundamental change.
