The Wonderstuff

This week, we're catching up with a Worcestershire musician who's opening a brewery with his famous cousin - Miles Hunt of the Wonderstuff!
Bromsgrove's Will Hunt has just come back from a 6,000-mile two month tour.
Will's also the son of Bill Hunt, of ELO and Wizzard fame, and has just launched his own beer with the largest real ale brewery in Birmingham!

Track of the Week: The Roving Crows

Andrew Marston says: "I had the honour of sitting in on the final mix of this album after a 10-year relationship with the band!"
The group has been a firm fixture on the local scene after moving to Colwall from Gloucestershire.
But it all began for main songwriter Paul O'Neill in Kildare, Ireland, before attending a performing arts college in New York City.
The band played their first-ever festival, courtesy of us, and now run their own; they're the people behind Lakefest and, wanting to return the favour, they gave us our very own BBC Music tent.
Early support from Introducing included playing support to Jamie Cullum at Colston Hall in Bristol.
They're now full time musicians and tour the continent with their Irish upbeat sounds and recently won the Best International Act at the Celtic Music Awards in Australia.

Verdi's Requiem

It's been called the most performed major classical choral work since Mozart - but is it possible to learn Verdi's Requiem in a single day?
This Saturday, the Worcester Festival Choral Society are throwing open their doors to anybody who want to have a go!
The day will be led by international conductor Piers Maxim, a former chorister at St Paul’s Cathedral and chorus master for the Belgian National Opera, who is now Director of Music at Great Malvern Priory.
If you fancy it, the workshop takes place at the King's School College Hall, behind the cathedral, from 9.30am and you can apply here.

Track of the Week: James Payton

James Payton is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter, from Redditch, whose lifelong passion has been music.
He taught himself how to play the clarinet, piano, guitar, bass and drums and after enjoying a stint in the navy, is now working as a sound engineer in broadcasting.
He's influenced by Ed Sheeran and Passenger and hopes to make similar sounding music.
"A pin-drop performance with great lyrics and a soulful melody" - Andrew Marston.
