Ruth & Miriam - Fearful of darkness

Ruth was born in Berlin in 1921, her Jewish faith put her family in great danger as war approached so her parents sent her to England as a refugee in 1937. She trained as nurse, married and had three children including Miriam. Miriam can't understand why her mother's journey and flight from Nazi Germany has had such a big impact on her life.
