Jakebob is a grime artist from Leominster who's been been mc'ing for roughly five years and producing for coming up to two years.
He's been working on a number of collaborations with musicians across the Midlands and received tonnes of support from BBC Introducing.
When not making sick beats, Jacob James can be found working at the local opticians!
“The speed this boy can spit rhymes together with his meteoric rise in production – we’re at the start of an incredible journey for this genius of the underground grime scene” - Andrew Marston.

Children In Need: Ross-on-Wye

This week, we're talking about the people doing their musical thing for Children In Need!
This month's sessions were recorded at the Phoenix Theatre in Ross-on-Wye, but the day before we rocked up, so did Pudsey!
The team at the venue held a perform-a-thon, where people could have their 20 minutes of fame, raising £1,111 for charity.

Christmas Lights: Bromyard, Kidderminster & Bromsgrove

There are just 37 sleeps until Christmas - and today has been the day many of our towns have decided to welcome in the festival spirit.
BBC Hereford & Worcester has been out in Bromyard and Kidderminster switching on the Christmas Lights.
We're next out on Thursday as we showcase some of the best new music from across our area ahead of the Worcester illuminations.

BBC Introducing in Ross-on-Wye

This month's sessions were recorded at The Phoenix Theatre in Ross-on-Wye, which used to be the town's fire station.
The team behind the productions formed nearly 100 years ago at the Corn Exchange, which burned down in 1939.
They then moved to The Roxy Theatre, which closed, and in 1982 moved to their present location at the top of the town.
They extended the facility 20 years later and now host events almost every weekend.

A few weeks ago, we reported that the Worcester Ukulele Club were the best in the UK, according to the American website Ukulele Music Info.
Well, there's about 60 of them - that meet every week in the the centre of Worcester.
Yesterday, they did their thing for Children In Need, performing at Crowngate Shopping Centre raising more than £1,000 for the big yellow bear!

Track of the Week

Influenced by Bon Jovi and Guns 'n' Roses, Bromsgrove's Daniel Trigger joined us this summer on our BBC Introducing stage at Lakefest.
He's been a long-term fixture here on BBC Hereford & Worcester ever since sending in tracks with his wife, Sally Trigger, in 2006.

Worcester's Christmas Lights

At BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester, we support the very best new music from across our region.
Since 2005, we've broadcast nearly 1,000 sessions, helping to showcase some of our area's most talented musicians to a massive audience.
Some of our recent highlights include Leominster’s AKA George at Glastonbury, Bromyard’s Remi Harris at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Hay-on-Wye’s Cherryshoes at T In The Park.
We’ve handpicked some of our favourite acts to join us as we switch on this year's Christmas Lights in Worcester!
These artists didn't even know they were being considered - and we hope this inspires people to keep sending in their music, because we really do listen to everything!
The event takes place outside the Guildhall on Thursday, 23 November and between 4pm and the actual switch-on, there'll be live music from Paige Esson, Tazmin Barnes, Chloe Elliot and KIM - with highlights broadcast throughout December.
