Ian Wright - ‘£30,000 a week for a seventeen year old is madness’
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright spoke out about the issues he believes there are with youth players in the English Game after England won the Under-17 World Cup.
Speaking about the wages offered to teenage players, Ian Wright said “You cannot expect a seventeen year old to act normally with that around him.”
“You’ve got to take that away from them so they can see the goal is winning things and legacy.”
