Reading FC: Ilori thinks the remedy has been found
The Royals defender Tiago Ilori thinks that Leeds win could be a catalyst this season.
The win was the Royals’ first in seven weeks in the Championship.
“Things have happened, we’ve let in goals where maybe shouldn’t,” Ilori told BBC Radio Berkshire’s Jack Winstanley. “It comes to a point where it almost feels like everything is against us.
“We’ve remedied that, we’ve put in the work, and it’s still early days.”
And Ilori says fans shouldn’t be surprised by the side changing tactics to match the opposition’s threat.
“We’ve trained in 4-3-3, as in any other positions we’ve played, so it wasn’t something special for Leeds.
“It was just what the coach thought would be the best for that particular game and it worked out.”
