Reading FC: Jaap Stam confident of climbing table
The Royals boss thinks it won’t be long before Reading improve their league position.
Jaap Stam knows how quickly things can change in the Championship as the season progresses.
“I know where we are, but I’m not frustrated by that,” Stam told BBC Radio Berkshire’s Jack Winstanley. “It’s the most important thing towards the end of the season and where we are then.
“We still have a game in hand as well, if we can keep it up and keep winning our games then within a couple of games we can be in the middle or in the top bit of the table.”
And Stam knows how tricky the test against high-flying Sheffield United will be in their next Championship game.
“We’re aware they are a very good team…and individually they have very good players.
“It’s not like this team have been promoted and it’s been all luck for them…not at all."
