General election 2017: Your views
How do you think your party performed in the general election? Listeners aired their views on the election result on this morning’s Your Call.
Ian in Bradford: I’m a very disappointed Conservative voter. It went wrong. Labour appealed to people’s pockets student and public workers and they weren’t very realistic but it wasn’t challenged. The Conservatives ran a disastrous campaign.”
Andrew, a Labour voter in Colchester: “With Jeremy, for someone who is reluctant to press the red button he’s done mighty spectacular job of nuking the Tory party.”
Gary, a UKIP voter in Weybridge: “You can’t decry the accomplishment and political force of character that Farage brought to the game. His absence is what left a lot of UKIP voters without a home.”
