Councillors defend "Nodding off" in meeting

Elected members of Gloucestershire County Council have been filmed apparently sleeping during one of the most important meetings of the past few years.

Councillors were discussing an OFSTED report which found "serious and widespread failures" in children's services.

Footage of the meeting, filmed by the BBC, shows four Conservative, Liberal Democrat and Labour councillors dozing off during the debate.
