Wenger departure 'inevitable' after West Brom defeat - Kilbane

Former Republic of Ireland international Kevin Kilbane says it is "inevitable" Arsene Wenger's reign at Arsenal will come to an end after their 3-1 defeat at West Brom on Saturday.

After the game, Wenger revealed he had made a decision on his future and would make an announcement "very soon".

"It's been a really damaging day today," Kilbane told 5 live's Eleanor Oldroyd. "You do feel as though it's inevitable what will happen now. That's the way that it feels to me. You wonder how he can survive another defeat like this today."

Kilbane added: "You look at all the big clubs - Arsenal of course a huge club around Europe - there's no other club that would've allowed the manager this much time."
