The Callout are a four piece pop-rock band from Redditch, who've played more than 350 shows in the decade they've been together.

Within the last five years, they've toured the country and supported big names such as Deaf Havana and McFly.

Off the back of their blinding performance at the Evesham Arts Centre, we invited them in to perform a live session for BBC Introducing.

"An impeccable rock-solid set from one of the Midlands' catchiest groups" - Andrew Marston.

Blue plaque

Blue plaque

Hendrix, The Beatles, Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy, Ozzy Osbourne - if they were worth seeing, they probably played somewhere in the two counties.

To celebrate BBC Music Day, on June 9, BBC Hereford & Worcester will unveil an official Blue Plaque celebrating a significant local musician or iconic location - and we need your ideas!

But - you've got to get your skates on - so please send your suggestions to [email protected] by midnight tomorrow.

Deaf choir

Deaf choir

A local charity, that supports people who are deaf or hard of hearing in Herefordshire & Worcestershire, has launched a choir - using sign language.

Deaf Direct, which organises weekly meetings at St Clement's Church in Worcester, is appealing for male singers to get in touch.

Team member Sarah Hindley says experience isn't necessary and explains how it works: "The choir's called Good Vibrations - and that's because deaf people access music through the vibrations of the music.

"We're looking for some male singers - and some altos, in particular, as we have lots of lovely ladies singing soprano - but to hear the harmonies of the music, we do need some more men."

To get involved, email [email protected].

This month's sessions were recorded at the Evesham Arts Centre.

The venue, which has been hosting a variety of performances in their 300-seat auditorium since 1979, is run by volunteers.

During February, they're hosting a variety of folk acts and musicals.

Learning opera!

Learning opera!

England take on Italy tomorrow in the Six Nations and to look ahead...we've decided to try out some Italian opera!

In 2011, Worcester's Pippa Langhorne got through to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent with her singing pooch Buddy.

So we sent our reporter Justyn Surrall out to have some singing lessons!

Mental health band

Mental health band

A band has been set up in Worcestershire, to help people with mental health problems.

Evesham Mental Health and District Service started the group to help improve the confidence and wellbeing of their patients.

The charity is now appealing for members of the public to donate unwanted instruments, so they can help more people.

BBC Introducing in Leominster

BBC Introducing in Leominster
At BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester, we support the very best new music from across our region.

Since 2005,
we've broadcast nearly 1,000 sessions, helping to showcase some of our area's most talented musicians to a massive audience.

Some of our recent highlights include Leominster’s
AKA George at Glastonbury, Bromyard’s Remi Harris at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Hay-on-Wye’s Cherryshoes at T In The Park

We’ve handpicked some of our favourite acts to join us on stage at our next big event, which takes place on Sunday 26 February at The White Lion, Leominster.

These artists didn’t even know they were being considered - and we hope this inspires people to keep sending in their music, because we really do listen to everything!

Admission is free and we’d love to see you anytime between 6pm and 10pm.
