BBC Children in Need: Choices Advocacy, Southampton
Every year millions of pounds are donated to the BBC Children in Need appeal. That money is used by organisations to directly benefit disadvantaged children and young people.
Choices Advocacy is based in Southampton. The grant from BBC Children in Need provides advocacy support to learning disabled young people in south Hampshire. It enables the youngsters to become more independent, gain confidence to help them stay safe and improve their communication skills.
BBC Radio Solent dropped in to one of their sessions.
