Anti-China Activists Set to Take Hong Kong Seats

Hong Kong Election Results; Migrant Rescue Live; Crossing the Congo

A new generation of anti-China activists have won seats on Hong Kong's Legislative Council (LegCo), preliminary results indicate.

Newsday joins Lucy Grey on a search and rescue ship with the charities MSF and SOS Mediterranee - just 25 miles off the coast of Libya.

In 2013, three friends from Britain - a former soldier, a nurse and a photo journalist - set off on a journey that they had been told was impossible: the north-south crossing of the Congo River Basin, from Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to Juba, in South Sudan. They travelled 2,500 miles in a 25 year-old Land Rover and along the way faced numerous challenges, from fire ants to non-existent roads and intense suspicion from local people. Two members of the team, Chloe Baker and Mike Martin chat to Lawrence Pollard.
