Brazilian President, Dilma Rousseff, has told the BBC that she will fight on and is determined to keep her job even if she is temporarily suspended for the duration of an impeachment trial.
The Canadian province of Alberta declares a state of emergency as wild fires force the entire city of Fort McMurray to evacuate.
And, a diamond the size of a tennis ball is due to go on sale here in London. The Lesedi la Rona diamond was discovered in Botswana last year and is thought to be worth more than $70 million.
