Neuroscientist reveals LSD brain scan results
Researchers from Imperial College London have for the first time run scans on the human brain looking at the effects of lysergic acid diethylamide, or LSD.
Researchers hope that the findings of the study might pave the way to develop therapeutic applications to treat patients with psychiatric disorders, such as depression or addiction.
Lead researcher Dr Robin Carhart-Harris told Today programme presenter Mishal Husain what they found.
