At a time when many of today’s rock legends were considered unsuitable for daytime programming by Radio 1 during the 60s and 70s, now retired producer, Jeff Griffin, tells Bill Aitken about the other side of Radio 1 and how he made it his business to promote the likes of Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Queen.
