Dan Almond is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Kidderminster who's currently studying Music Technology and Popular Music Performance at the University of West London.
He's influenced by people such as Passenger, Mumford & Sons, Pink Floyd, Queen and Dire Straits.
We loved his music so much, we passed it on to Mark Forrest who played it across all 39 BBC Local Radio stations in the UK.
"One of the finest gems on the local music scene, with heartfelt lyrics and pin-drop performances" - Andrew Marston.
Kylie in Herefordshire?

The pop princess Kylie Minogue has announced she's engaged to Herefordshire lad Joshua Sasse.
After weeks of rumour, the couple have made things official.
The 47-year-old has been going out with the 28-year-old British actor - whose mum lives in the village of Aymestrey - for just six months and it's thought he may have popped the question at Christmas.
Just a few days ago at the NME Awards, Kylie was seen sporting a huge diamond ring.
But if she came to visit his home county where should he take her? We asked people living in Herefordshire where they'd suggest Kylie should go to see the best the county has to offer!
Worcester City protest song

Worcester City's fans are so annoyed at delays in finding a new home for the club, they've recorded a protest song.
The team has been playing at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough ground since 2013, after their St George's Lane home was sold for redevelopment.
BBC Introducing in Stourport-on-Severn

This month's sessions were recorded at The Swan in Stourport.
The venue has recently become a music hub for the town after being bought by Matt Worley who runs the Strings & Things store next door.
The performance area is decorated with amps around the stage and bar, music memorabilia across all of the beams and vinyl records fixed to the walls.
Matt was also instrumental in bringing a trade fair to Stourport last year at the town's Civic Centre and he's now looking to open a dedicated function room at The Swan, complete with a restaurant and rock 'n' themed hotel suites.
Nozstock: The Hidden Valley

The first lineup announcement has been made for this year's Nozstock Festival.
The event, now in its 18th year, will welcome groups like Jurassic 5, Gentleman's Dub Club, Foreign Beggars, Slamboree, the Hot 8 Brass Band, Professor Elemental and Split Prophets.

People's History Of Pop

Here on BBC Hereford & Worcester, we're talking about the good old days of rock 'n' roll.
This week we take you a musical trip of Herefordshire; at the back of our BBC studios here in Broad Street is what used to be the 1600 club. We get the memories of Stan Tippins and Tom Oliver.
Andrew Marston also swings by the houses of Bad Company/Mott The Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs (who's playing a show in Hereford this evening) and former Kington resident Mike Oldfield, who regarded his album Hergest Ridge here.
BBC Introducing in Ross-on-Wye

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
Our next recording session takes place on Easter Sunday at The Phoenix Theatre in Ross-on-Wye and features five acts we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester.
It's free to get in - and this is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.
None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.
Doors open at 2pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up any time until 7pm.
