Syria: UN to Deliver Aid to Madaya
Syria aid; Easter Island mystery; Bataclan reopens
The UN is due to deliver aid today to besieged towns in Syria, where it's estimated that tens of thousands of people are facing severe food shortages. Among the areas due to receive aid is the town of Madaya, where more than twenty people have died of starvation.
For decades, the mystery of what happened to Easter Island’s Rapa Nui people has been unsolved. Now, researchers believe that they understand what wiped out the stone head sculpture builders.
Three months after the terrorist attacks in Paris, survivors have returned to the Bataclan concert hall, to watch the Eagles of Death Metal resume their performance.
