World powers 'agree Syria ceasefire'; 'Riples' from black holes detected; Kenya doping
World powers have agreed to seek a nationwide "cessation of hostilities" in Syria to begin in a week's time, after talks in Germany.
For the first time, scientists have detected tiny, rhythmic distortions in space and time. They are gravitational waves caused by the collision of two black holes. And they were predicted by Einstein 100 years ago.
And Kenya has missed a deadline to prove to the World Anti-Doping Agency or Wada that it is tackling cheating in athletics.
