World Powers 'Agree Syria Ceasefire'
'Cessation of hostilities' to begin in a week; Italian student killed in Egypt; South Sudan
By this time next week the guns will go silent in Syria according to world leaders gathered in Munich. This was the dramatic conclusion reached at the peace talks being held there.
The funeral of Giulio Regeni - a student killed in Egypt - takes place today in his hometown of Fiumicello, in north-eastern Italy. He disappeared in Cairo and was found dead on February 3.
Former rebel leader Riek Machar has been restored as South Sudan's Vice President by the country's President, Salva Kiir.
