
South Korean Companies Withdraw from Industrial Park in North
South Korean retaliates against North Korean nuclear test; Antibiotics resistance; Heart transplant survivor.
South Korean companies have started withdrawing their personnel from an industrial park in North Korea which is jointly run by the two countries. On Wednesday, Seoul announced it was halting operations in the Kaesong complex after the North carried out a nuclear test and fired a long-range missile.
Drug resistant infections will cause 10 million additional deaths a year and $100 trillion by 2050 if the global increase in antibiotic use is not stopped. Now detailed findings have been released by a review team here in Britain - the Review on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). Lord Jim O'Neill joins us to tell us more.
