WADA: Corruption Embedded in Athletics Body, IAAF

The World Anti Doping Agency publishes a report accusing the former head of the International Association of Athletics Federation of organising and enabling corruption. WADA says under Lamine Diack corruption was embedded in the organisation. The claims come after a terrible year for Fifa, another sporting body caught up in corruption scandals. With so much money linked to the IAAF through sponsorship deals, even more so in an Olympic year, this is set to be a massive hurdle for athletics. We speak to Anthony Marcou, an expert in sports marketing, about what is at stake.
