Madaya's medical needs; Germany anti-Muslim protest; Myanmar peace talks
The United Nations' humanitarian chief, Stephen O'Brien, has warned that around 400 people in the besieged Syrian town of Madaya need immediate medical help to save their lives.
Thousands of anti-Muslim protesters have held a rally in the eastern German city of Leipzig blaming the influx of migrants for a wave of sexual assaults and robberies targeting women.
The government of Myanmar is holding a five-day peace talks with several armed ethnic groups. The move follows the signing in October of a ceasefire agreement between the government and 8 armed groups.
