Madaya Residents Forced to Eat Grass and Cats

Residents of the Syrian town of Madaya say they have been forced to eat grass, while others described people eating cats and rubbish out of bins during a siege that started in October.
Venezuela's Supreme Court has ruled that the actions of the opposition-held National Assembly will be null and void, until it removes three lawmakers accused of election irregularities.
China's former deputy police chief, Li Dongsheng, has been jailed for 15 years for corruption. He is accused of illegally accepting more than three million dollars worth of illegal payments.
