France Seeking to Build Stronger Alliance Against IS

France's efforts to build coalition against IS; Pope Francis in Uganda; Saudi Women

President Hollande of France will today join the relatives and friends of the victims of the Paris attacks at the historic site of Les Invalides. In the fortnight since the attacks, the French president has been on a diplomatic marathon to build a stronger alliance against Islamic State. Newsday talks to French MP Jacques Myard.

Pope Francis touches down in Kampala in Uganda this afternoon on the second leg of his trip to Africa. Newsday's Alan Kasujja is in Kampala with a panel of guests to discuss what the Pope's visit means for Uganda.
