In session

You Know The Drill are a four-piece pop/punk group from Stourport.
They are relatively new, having only been together since the beginning of summer 2014.
They've been travelling all over the country to recording in the same studios as their influences in the hope of capturing the same sound.
All of our live studio sessions and festival gigs since 2005...

Rockfield studios

This week, we're talking reverb - and this is where Rockfield comes into its own.
What we wanted to know is why the biggest bands in the world are shelling out thousands on big studios - when they could record, for free, on a laptop computer.
Who better to ask than studio owner Lisa Ward and former in-house engineer Paul Cobbold?
Build yourself an echoey room, add a speaker and a couple of mics (to pick up stereo) - then all you need to do is send what you what a bit of echo on into the room.
A local history of great gigs and musical legends...

Ellie Goulding: Delirium

Kington's Ellie Goulding has released her third studio album - and to celebrate, she's doing a number of high profile shows with the BBC.
Last night she launched the Children In Need TV show on BBC1, appeared live with Graham Norton, done a Radio 1 Live Lounge session and has been speaking to Jo Whiley at BBC Radio 2.
Tonight we get an insight into the life of one of Britain's biggest pop stars - and what it's like once you've signed that all-elusive record contract.

BBC Introducing in Bewdley

This month's sessions were recorded at the 28th consecutive edition of the Bewdley Festival.
This year, they welcomed Leo Sayer, Mari Wilson and Toyah Wilcox on stage during the 10-day event.
As well as our BBC Introducing roadshow taking place at the Mercure, there were classical concerts and showcases organised by the Bewdley Youth Festival.

BBC Introducing in Bromyard

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
Tomorrow afternoon, we'll be rolling up to the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard to record several acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.
We'll bring the bands - all we need now - is the fans!
None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.
So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
Doors open at 2pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up any time until 6pm.
