Myanmar Electoral Results; Christmas Island Riot; Zimbabwe Drought
With vote counting in Myanmar's landmark election well underway, the BBC's Burmese editor Soe Win Than speaks to Newsday.
Rioting is taking place at an Australian detention centre for asylum seekers on Christmas Island, after the death of one of the detainees. Australian authorities describe it as a 'disturbance', but one of the detainees who spoke to BBC news in the last few hours painted a different picture.
