Reuben Buffong is a singer/songwriter from Redditch who wants to inspire and influence others to believe in themselves.
He's spent this last year self-funding the writing and releasing of his own material and has just landed a 9 to 5 job to pay for the next chapter in his life.
He's got a number of high profile shows coming up - oh, and he's a pretty slick dancer as well!
All of our live studio sessions and festival gigs since 2005...

Robot Band

A newly formed band from Tenbury Wells won't be vulnerable to the usual fall-outs of rock musicians - because it's made up of robots.
Paul Snook, who once featured on BBC2's Robot Wars, built a bassist, a drummer and a keyboard player from recycled steel - all of which feature in a musical.
So we've been to see Ichabod Steam, the Victorian sci-fi band, in action.

BBC Introducing in Bewdley

This (next) month's sessions were recorded at the 28th consecutive edition of the Bewdley Festival.
This year, they welcomed Leo Sayer, Mari Wilson and Toyah Wilcox on stage during the 10-day event.
As well as our BBC Introducing roadshow taking place at the Mercure, there were classical concerts and showcases organised by the Bewdley Youth Festival.

Bren Haze

We hear from the Hereford guitarist, told by doctors he'd never play again after breaking his hand, who's managed to complete his second album.
Bren Haze returned home after spending two years living in Austria, but was left in doubt after recording just three songs into his latest release.
After seeing a top surgeon in London, Bren says he's made a full recovery.
He classes himself as an acoustic/rock guitarist who likes to mix up mellow tracks and then throw in the edgy sounds of Slash and Pink Floyd.
When he came back to the UK, he hadn't picked up a guitar in so long - he felt any prospects of getting a band back together were long gone - so instead he plays TWO guitars during his live shows!

BBC Introducing in Bromyard

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
On Sunday 15 November, we'll be rolling up to the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard to record several acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.
We'll bring the bands - all we need now - is the fans!
None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.
So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
Doors open at 2pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 6pm.
