Metropolitan Police "Hate attacks on Muslims up by over 70% in London"

Faith-based groups said the picture is similar elsewhere in the UK, with radical Islamist attacks abroad causing rises in violence against Muslims here.Women were particularly vulnerable, especially those wearing the niqab or veil, that covers everything but their eyes.
