Israeli police have arrested an ultra religious Jew who stabbed six people taking part in the annual Gay Pride march in Jerusalem. Two were seriously wounded. Police said the attacker, Yishai Shlisel, was the same man who stabbed four Gay Pride marchers in 2005; he was recently released from prison.
MH370 investigation latest: There has been no confirmation of the source of the wreckage, but it is being transported to France for further investigation. Newsday chats to David Gleave - air accident investigator and aviation expert at Loughborough University.
On 31st July, 50,000 villagers living in enclaves along the India-Bangladesh border will begin moving across the border to new homes as they embrace a new nationality - part of a landmark deal agreed by the two countries in June. For more than six decades, these people have effectively been stateless - living in land that belonged to one country but was located in the other. Sanjoy Majumder reports.
