Africa will be the source of half the world's population growth in the next 35 years according to a UN study.
The FBI has told the BBC that levels of child trafficking for sex across America have reached almost epidemic proportions. Last year federal agents rescued more than 600 children from a life of exploitation, and law enforcement agencies in the US say the numbers of children exploited for sex, have been rising steadily since the 1990s. Our International Correspondent Ian Pannell has a special investigation from Baltimore.
Malaysia sends a team to the French Indian Ocean island of Reunion to determine whether debris which washed up there is from missing flight MH370. Aviation experts have said the debris looks like a wing component from a 777, known as a flaperon.
